Designing a Garden for a Country Villa

Green Design Between Rhythm and Tranquility

Landscape Architecture for a House Surrounded by Nature

A new look for this distinguished country villa, previously surrounded by a large embrace of corn and now immersed in the greenery of a large park-garden that combines composure and wild spirit. To give liveliness we find rustic and Provencal essences, colorful species and large flowered spots. To this is added the insertion of elegant olive trees in focal points and specimens of Quercus suber that give rhythm and symmetry.

From the Entrance to the Large Park

Garden designer Stefano Filippini has redesigned the entrance of the house by placing interesting Buxus arrangements and revising the pathways with porphyry and Botticino marble. An idea that emerged from the new project is also the large staircase, connecting the entrance garden to the park. The latter has been completely revised with the creation of embankments, moving the boundaries, and the emergence of two small hills that host olive trees and cypresses. The slopes are entirely planted to create a sort of private “nest”, protected from the outside. On the roadside, large evergreen bushes of Laurel, Photinia, and Privet preserve from prying eyes and dampen the noise.
