Landscape Design for a Large Lake View Garden
Garden designer Stefano Filippini intervened in this villa with a park in Padenghe del Garda to bring about a radical transformation of the outdoor spaces and enhance the lake view location. The project's leitmotif is the creation of continuity between the Californian character of the house, so dear to the client, and the vast garden. A generous threshold that reminds one of the grand entrances of American buildings welcomes the guest. An amphitheater of considerable size surrounded by Cycas and Agave and prestigious pots conveys the idea of a warm embrace and marks the starting point of winding paths that lead us to discover the garden.

The Los Angeles palms overlooking the Benaco
The use of stone walls allowed us to create a unique and particularly large green area, embellished with decorative elements and a careful selection of plants including typical Californian Washingtonia palms. Colorful shrubs, hardy plants, pomegranates, and succulents in focal points further adorn the vegetation, catering to the client’s taste.
Walking along one of the paths, we arrive at the pool area, from which an extraordinary frontal view of the lake can be admired. The view of the adjacent residences was concealed with the insertion of evergreen plants and deciduous trees for their large canopies and summer shadows.
