Borgo Il Mezzanino is a splendid boutique hotel overlooking Salò, one of the 'capitals' of Lake Garda. The property turned to landscape designer Stefano Filippini for the redevelopment of the historic garden following the restoration of the ancient residence and farmhouse. An ambitious project aimed at creating a continuum between the surrounding nature and the hospitality spaces, leveraging greenery as the key to success for hospitality.

Mediterranean Garden Between Tradition and Enhancement
The team at SF Landscape Architecture, led by Stefano, chose to reinterpret the garden in a Mediterranean key, emphasizing the view of the Gulf of Salò while at the same time keeping alive the tradition of Italian greenery.
One of the actions taken was the enhancement of the staircase, until then hidden by the earth and now transformed into a sumptuous suspended terrace. This made it possible to create a lower garden which was given a formal style, perfect for the daily walk of the guests of the facility. The whirlpool tubs, supplied and installed by our long-term partner SOLDI PISCINE, scattered along the main paths, are of great prestige, offering a moment of romantic relaxation against the backdrop of unmissable sunsets.
