Total Restyling for a Custom Garden
Privileged Sunsets Over the Gulf of Desenzano
A challenging task of requalifying the outdoor spaces for this villa located in the upper area of Padenghe sul Garda. Landscape designer Stefano Filippini brought all his experience to bear, undertaking a total renovation of the garden with the aim of providing greater linearity and functionality, while respecting the modern shapes of the house. The landscape architecture project first saw the relocation of the entrance staircase, removed from the central facade and now placed next to the wall so as to free up the area in front of the house. The previous railings overlooking the lake have been replaced with a new, much more airy and elegant glass version, while the new entrance has been enhanced with a generously sized Agave.

The Garden: From the Infinity Pool to the Ancient Olive Tree
In the garden, the pool stands out significantly, being the protagonist of a picturesque scene from which one can admire the entire Gulf of Desenzano up to the Castle of Padenghe. The pool is an Infinity Pool with an overflow on the long side, while the floors are made of practical PVC decking, an ecological and recyclable solution. Next to the original stone wall stands a large ancient olive tree, at its base a play of shapes created by an interesting combination of Buxus sempervirens and Stipa tenuissima.ima. Crowning it all are wonderful palm trees, a Mediterranean touch for an exciting scenery. On a slightly lower level than the pool, there is a natural balustrade characterized by small shrubs: this is the most playful area designed for children’s play.ini. The view of the neighboring house was finally concealed thanks to the skillful grafting of very tall Laurus Nobilis and Quercus ilex, all outlined with sheet metal and gravel.
